A twelve year journey including a very long ortho surgery residency, first year as staff, a move to Fort Irwin AKA The Moon, a move back to DC, and now finally settling for a while in the Augusta, Georgia area-this blog tells a story of a boy and a girl leaving NYC, both switching careers, joining the Army, starting our family, loving, losing, living... Buckle up, this life of ours is bumpy, but full of love and lots of adventure.

A Second Christmas with Grandparents O and Liam learns to say, "NO!"

Grandma and Grandpa O came to visit this past weekend and it was nice celebrating with them. Liam loved visiting and helping rip open any wrapping paper. He also liked showing his grandparents how to get into his new dump truck, not to drive it, but to ride in the back. Liam also learned a new word--"NO!" We really shouldn't put it with an exclamation because he really does say it with the sweetest little voice. See for yourself in the video below.

Dear Sir Liam
Well you certainly do say"no" in a sweet voice :-)
But Dad was only trying to feed you spinach, not something bad :-)
We loved seeing you, and marveled at how much you have grown since Thanksgiving. You are taller, and talking lots now. We loved seeing you and getting a chance to play with you, especially peek a boo, and hiding :-)
Please tell Mom, thanks for making this blog so Grandpa and I can keep up with your amazing progress.

You know we love you soooo much,

Grandma O

Dear Sir Liam the Cutest,

Wasn't it fun to see Grandparents O for Christmas too, after you had so much going at Granparents R? It was a double blessing for you to have both grandparents in this world who love, and adore you so much.

We are so glad to see that you are growing to be a genius in every aspect. May God continue to bless you, your Mom and Dad. You all deserve the very best.

Love you tons,
Grandma R
