Adventures at Eden Center

Great things happen at Eden Center/AKA Saigon-town--Liz got her Vietnamese wedding dress tailor-made, we eat yummy, authentic Vietnamese food at the many restaurants, AND Liam gets his annual Tet outfit. It is always fun to watch Liam take in all the sights in such a busy establishment. He even sat through an entire lunch and sampled some of the fare with little crankiness, which is nothing short of a miracle these days. He does not like to be confined (including in a highchair) and wants to explore everything on foot going about Mach 3 in every direction at the same time. All in all, he got to explore and we all got to eat and shop and enjoy it.

Dear Liam the Cutest,

You were really a very good boy at Eden Center while we enjoyed our lunch at Viet Royal restaurant. We had an authentic meal there with eggrolls, lotus and shrimp salad, grilled chicken with lemon grass, medallion of beef and onion, fish hot and sour soup, and the yummy tiger shrimp scampi. You seemed to enjoy some of these foods with your favorite rice.

Afterwards, you helped us shop for Mailee's and your outfit to celebrate this year's Tet. You will look handsome in it - a silky red emperor outfit with golden fabric little vest and a perfect hat just for you. We hope Mailee will love her cute little outfit too - a pant suit made of silky red fabric beautifully adorned with "Mai" flowers with notched buttons top.

The Year of the Ox will begin on January 26. Our family is thinking about having our Tet celebration on Saturday, January 30so that everyone can attend. We look forward to seeing you, Grandparents O, your Mom and Dad and a few friends to ring in another very good year of love, health, hope and success.

Until then, much love to you,

Grandma R
