Izzy-Belly's First, First Birthday Celebration

Dear Izzy,

We were hit by not one, but two viruses and had to cancel your party, but that just means more time to celebrate! Grandparents O came in and were not fearful of our cooties and helped celebrate with us this weekend. They put up with snot and lots more and helped us shower you with affection. We'll celebrate with Auntie Cee Cee, Mailee and Grandparents R next week and then we will have our friend over the following week. Three weeks of celebrating--even more special!

Here are a few shots of the kiddos with the Grandparents O.

Dearest Isabelle,
Even though your whole family was suffering from colds and a stomach virus, Grandpa O and I couldn't stay away and had to be with you for this, your first birthday. What joy you have brought to everyone, your Mom,Dad, brother Liam, Grandparents R and O, and all your aunts and uncles both here in the US and in France. Have fun this weekend coming with Grandma and Grandpa R, Aunt Caroline, Mailee, and Uncle John in spirit.
lots and lots of love ,
Grandma O

Dear Isabelle,

Grandpa, Aunt Cee Cee, Mailee and I really missed being at your birthday celebration last week. We all anticipated to be there but the bad viruses prevented us from coming. Your Mom was right that it made your birthday extra special as we continue this celebration for next two weeks. We will come tomorrow (Saturday, March 18th w/more gifts for you to open and more food/cake for you to taste). Then, the big party will be on the 26th for you to enjoy as well.

See you soon with more hugs and kisses,

Grandma R
