A twelve year journey including a very long ortho surgery residency, first year as staff, a move to Fort Irwin AKA The Moon, a move back to DC, and now finally settling for a while in the Augusta, Georgia area-this blog tells a story of a boy and a girl leaving NYC, both switching careers, joining the Army, starting our family, loving, losing, living... Buckle up, this life of ours is bumpy, but full of love and lots of adventure.

Seven months! It is hard to believe seven months have passed since you joined your Mom, Dad, and Liam and have been such a beautiful and welcome addition to the extended Rhynerson/O'Brien/Hilburn family. What a delight you are, and what a blessing you are to all of us, today and everyday. We look forward to many happy days ahead with the entire family together.

What a beautiful girl you are! Grandpa and I are so proud of you -our china doll. You and your brother Liam, and your cousin Mailee are truly blessings that we all are so thankful for. We look forward to having the three of you in the upcoming holidays.
