O'Briens
A twelve year journey including a very long ortho surgery residency, first year as staff, a move to Fort Irwin AKA The Moon, a move back to DC, and now finally settling for a while in the Augusta, Georgia area-this blog tells a story of a boy and a girl leaving NYC, both switching careers, joining the Army, starting our family, loving, losing, living... Buckle up, this life of ours is bumpy, but full of love and lots of adventure.

Hi Sir Liam,
I hope you are enjoying watching these small films, just as your Mom and Dad did when they were younger. As you grow, they will share more of their experiences with you, and I know all of you will love getting to learn more about each other. You have a very very special set of parents :-)
lots of love Grandma O

Dear Sir Liam the Cutest,

Ah! this brings back memories when your Mom and your Auntie C were little girls. We had these movies (Santa's Workshop and the Night before Christmas) that they like to share with their friends besides the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Grandpa R had the movies ready every time your Mom and Auntie C invited their friends over. It was so much fun to watch them all giggling and enjoying the movies. I know soon it would be a fascinating movie at all times for you too.

This year's Christmas season is around the corner. I am sure your Mom and Dad will lead you to the Christmas land of many wonders. And Santa Claus will bring you many goodies if you are a good boy all year round.

See you on Thanksgiving Day. Until then, many kisses and much love to you,

Grandma R
