Liam really enjoys feeding himself these days, and in fact demands it for the most part. He gives me a look that makes me think he is screaming in his head, "MOM, puree is SOOOOO below me--not for big boys!" His favorite things to eat are cottage cheese, pretzels, pieces of cheese, potatoes, broccoli, pirates bootie, veggie bootie and carrots. He definitely is my son because he LOVES to eat, and does so with a big grin and some chuckles. I had filmed this so Fred wouldn't miss out and thought you all would enjoy too. Check out the video clip for a glimpse of meal times in the O'Brien household. Bonus for Sabre--she gets to do the pre-clean up on the floors when we are done.
