Memorial Day Weekend

Liam celebrated his first Memorial Day weekend with lots of friends. We had Ethan's first birthday party, where he met a new friend Drew (another Drew), a BBQ with the ortho studs and their families, and a BBQ with Liam's best friends Diego and Drew M. Liam is quite the social butterfly and he had Fred and me jumping from one gathering to another. Liam also has become a connoisseur of BBQ foods. We are graduating from just plain purees and tried risotto, potato salad, BBQ chicken and watermelon! What a big boy! He will be hanging off the refrigerator before we know it, asking "what's for dinner?"

Dear Sir Liam the Cutest,

Oh, grandma R is so proud of you! You have a great circle of friends already at the age of 9 months. Your parents were wonderful to have taken you to meet all of your friends. And you tasted all the good food at BBQs - don't you think they taste much better than puree veggies and fruits that you are accustomed to? But wait until you can taste grandma R's pho, hu tieu, bo kho, thit kho dua gia, bun xao, ga kho gung, cha gio, goi cuon, etc. Grandma R will cook for you anytime you want them - but make sure you have your Mom and Dad coming along for some good food.

Until I see you again soon, lots of love and kisses to you as always.

Grandma R.
