A much happier post...
As I have said before last week, after 12 long years in the making, I am so proud that Fred is finally done and is officially staff! Three years ago, we kinda ran out of gas and we really couldn't imagine that we'd get here. I remember watching everyone at the graduation dinner and thinking, how did they do it??? But here we are!
Through lots of turmoil, Fred persevered and pushed through all the work and long hours, while making lots of sacrifices. Many people judged and didn't understand our lives. We learned to get thicker skin and learned how to dig deep when things got crazy. And through it all, we got closer. If that is even possible, because you have to be really tight in the first place to get through the years and the events we experienced. Regardless, we are tougher, better and wiser from it all and even more in love with one another.
Congratulations, Fred! I can't wait for "normal" work hours, family dinnertime, being able to spend more time together as a family and enduring more of the fun chaos we call our lives.
We love you so much!
Liam wants to know if we have to call you doctor? Hilarious little man.

Congratulations, Fred!
You are so wonderful to choose this profession knowing that you will have to sacrifice a lot - being away from your family most of the times and missing out a lot of events. Your passion and dedication for humanity is so much admirable.
Liz, you deserve as much recognition on Fred’s special day because you are as strong and work tirelessly in keeping your family amazingly together during Fred’s absences. Indeed, you both are a superb couple who can look back with pride at those years of sacrifices and your determination to make this very special day possible for Fred.
May God continue to bless you both along with your children in your journey of love and hope - filled with much happiness and prosperity!
Much love to you all!
Mom and Dad R.
