O'Briens

O'Briens
A twelve year journey including a very long ortho surgery residency, first year as staff, a move to Fort Irwin AKA The Moon, a move back to DC, and now finally settling for a while in the Augusta, Georgia area-this blog tells a story of a boy and a girl leaving NYC, both switching careers, joining the Army, starting our family, loving, losing, living... Buckle up, this life of ours is bumpy, but full of love and lots of adventure.

Happy Fourth of July

We hope your Fourth of July celebration was full of lots of fun among good family and friends. We celebrated with both family and friends, but Fred was working all weekend taking care of those who are protecting our country. As we all celebrated, we also remembered those who are still fighting for our country, including some dear friends of ours.

Dear Sir Liam and your Ladyship Isabelle,
I can think of no better way to celebrate our nation's birthday, than with family and friends...and keeping in mind those who are not home with their loved ones.
Isabelle and Liam, just between us, you are the smartesta and sweetest of all the children in the photos :-)))
Lucky you, to have Grandma and Grandpa R to be with you, Mom and Dad for all the fun.
Happy Fourth of July 2010 !!!
Lots and lots of love, hugs and kisses,
Grandma and Grandpa 0
