A New Table for Liam

Grandma and Grandpa O brought a new table and some chairs for Liam. Each piece was lovingly painted by Grandparents O and Liam (and his parents) love it. He now takes most of his meals there at the table. I say "takes" because I really do wait on him as if he is a patron of a restaurant. And when he would like more bananas or pirates bootie, he actually summons me!

I was at Great Beginnings the other day and purchased a slide-free mat with a plate with three sections and fork/spoon set. It is a great addition to the table and Liam has been practicing feeding himself and sitting at a table like a big boy.

Thanks Ellen and Fred for such a beautiful present.

Dear Sir Liam the Cutest,

You are a very lucky boy to have Grandparents O making you a nice set of table and chairs. The table is so neat providing you a blackboard in the center to write on besides using it for other purposes. What a nice piece of furniture for you to enjoy for many years. Now you can seat on that special chair - made just for you and it also has your name on it- to have your dinner or to read books and newspaper with your Mom and Dad. Your grandparents O are so wonderful!

Don't you think that we must say: "thank you so much Grandparents O for such a lovely and very thoughful gift"?

Love you tons,

Grandma R

Dear Sir Liam
Well, Grandpa O and I say "You are most welcome". It was with great love that the table and chairs were painted for you and we hope that you will have many years of enjoyment and use with the set.

Congratulations on learning to eat with utensils ! But,please, use the good manners Mom and Dad are teaching, when you ask for more to eat or drink :-)))

hugs, kisses and lots of love, Grandma and Grandpa O
